Default Clutch Ratchet

How do you know when yours is goosed?

My clutch slipps and sometimes hard to go in gear its on a cable I changed the clutch for a new clutch and its the same I put a few washers on the cable and that helped a bit getting in to gear

The car is a 3 door cosworth

You tried manually pulling the pedal to adjust the ratchet or looking to see if is hitting the stop to open the ratchet? Is your clutch cable ok where it passes next to the turbo might have stretched. For the price of the ratchet you could chuck one on.
