Front hubs from 4x4 in 2WD
Hi
I've a 2WD Sapphire Cosworth. A friend sells to me a kit with 4x4 front hubs, 4x4 coilovers and AP 5200 with brackets kit to 4x4
Rear coilovers from 4x4 fits to 2wd?
If I'll change the hubs, brakes and coilovers in the front, is neccesary any other mod in my 2wd to fit the kit?
Kit is a bargain and is a good opportunity to upgrade my cossie, regards

You need to have the outer stub shaft end from the front driveshaft. Just remove the c clip and the shaft pulls out. Cv joint can then be taken apart.
No changes needed to steering rack.
You need to check the TCA's 4x4 has pinch bolt fitment, 2wd can have taper fit.
4x4 cosworth hubs will move the wheels in slightly.
This is mine on 4x4 hubs
No changes needed to steering rack.

It's no different to any other Sierra. Mines not low enough to make much difference.
Also no difference in steering arm length. Just track it up as normal.

Oh right ok cool beans , a mate had to temporarily put a 2wd rack on and escos to get it on a trailor and the track was awful and he had them screwed out as much as he could dare with out them popping out the rods lol. That's what made me think they where different. Silly me

some nonsense on here sorry
the tca's are the same on saph cossies and escort cossies 2 and 4 wd
if you have 4x4cossie shocks and hubs you need to use the hub complete with the 4x4 discs and callipers he has and the outer cv as already mentioned
you will need longer track rod arms for your rack

I guess your pointing the tca bit to me. I put some can have taper fit tca's as its not uncommon for some one to fit 3 door hubs on a saff. Never assume anything.
And the steering arm do fit, there in the photo. I also run a wider track to standard too.
