Looking some help as im pulling my hair out over this atm.!!

Right, at the weekend i bust the lense off the n/s clear indicator lense. So off i popped down to my local Ford dealer and ordered another one.

Its arrived and its different to the one off the car. The one off the car has a wire mesh over the orange lens inside where the one from Ford hasnt.

Ford say this is the only type they do but if this correct where have the ones fitted to my Sapp come from?? And where do i get them from??

Any info would be great!

As above, I'm sure, from memory of having both gen and non gen, one had mesh, one didn't. Clear lens, i assume....?

Im not sure if they are genunie or not the've been on it since i bought, three years ago.

Yes they are clear lens. I assumed there was just the two types amber & clear not meshy bits to deal with aswell!

Also the lenses did change from Ford, I bought a new pair around 3 years ago and the 'back plastic' was a Grey colour and originals off my car were White.......

Sure I still have them in a box somewhere

From memory, the pattern ones have chrome back bits... The others might be originals.
I used to work at Ford, used to dish out white an grey backs on lamps...

Check on the lens you have on the car, if its a gen one it will say ford on the outside with the oval

Ill have a look at that when im up my unit the weekend and report back...
