Default Sierra RS500 Mk1

Hi guys , I have an rs500 suffering from low milage . Don't get me wrong great car strong engine but the cold clutch judder bugs me . This is combined with a low bite however when warm all is well . Is this typical or can some one advise a decent replacemt ( Like AP ) I'm not after a racing clutch but more comfortable drive that can take the odd thrashing . I do realise I'm may need to reface the flywheel . Last but least who is recommended to do it , as i cannot pretend anymore i can't be arsed to break my back and get it wrong . Thanks in advance .

if standard to stage 3 power i would just go with a standard clutch and flywheel skim they last well so long as not abused with 6k launches and burnouts! other than that you cant really go wrong with an alcon 6 paddle, far better than ap's and are not heavy at all

Default work done

Hi guys , i have done the work went for the AP organic clutch ( six springs ) kit. Went very well as you can expect crank seal gone which resulted in a quick dash to burtons. Result was great not heavy smooth power delivery . I was going to add pics but i can't ?.

Has the clutch cable ever been changed out of interest?! They become heavy over time cos of the heat from the turbo etc and eventually will end up snapping!!!
