Anyone know if you can still buy 2wd cosworth heat sheilds new or if anyone is selling a mint condition one? Are 3dr ons the same a saphs?

3dr and Sapp are different - the 3dr one is straight where as the Sapp one has a lip that comes over the top - and Sapphire ones are the ones that pop up on ebay every now and then but have started to increase in price, i haven't seen one for ages so i would imagine then next time one were to surface it would be £100+

Yes I do as I brought one, I am going back nearly a couple of years ago now though!

There is a member on Ebay, David his name is (RS-Auction username) his a parts specialist for RS'S and also has alot of parts NLA from Ford, which the heat shield is!

As such be prepared to pay around £90, like I did.

True, if you have the skills and equipment to do so, but tbh they always look tacky to me, plus the original one has all the correct fixings to keep it in place.

I woulden't buy a second hand one either personally as alot of them are trash, so your better off paying out to buy new imo, plus alot of them have been cut up etc as you need to do so when fitting strut braces.

Adam i would snap that up as what is being sold is only Sapphire ones, 3dr items don't exist mate and the Sapphire one is what is being passed off as the 3dr

You want to ask James what he wants for it

This is a Sapphire one with the bend over the top - which is virtually the only one being sold



This the 3dr version - not been available for yonks
