ive used aerocoat alot in the past but on this build i used buckenham blast cleaning in beccles. their ALOT cheaper but the choice of colours is limited. my 3dr was also bought as a shell last august. its been really hard work but its great to finally drive the thing

yeah it was a bit of a challenge, before we got it we spoke to hammonds in halesworth, 'yeah no problem, we can put it on a jig etc' then they saw it and we got 'fucking hell, thats worse than we expected' managed to get a motorsport shell for Ł900 delivered from aberdeen!!

there is a chap sometimes parked down my road with a white d plate one which looks quite tidy and a bloke near my mum has a moonstone one but it could do with a tidy up, my old man is cossie mad as well, his saph is his third

yeah was probably the one, completely standard looking, ive got a mate with a crystal saph with a 400 harvey gibbs engine and his old man has a saph and an escort both with harvey engines

theres apparently a rs500 at yarmouth heliport but ive never seen it. all these cars must be well hidden as you never seem to see any on the road

there was a black 500 in belton that me and my dad tried to buy, we offered quite a bit but the bloke didnt want to know. not sure if he ever rebuilt it but it was on flat tyres for about 10 years apparently

its still at morris & sons in cobholm. apparently been dogged up to fuck. id be supprised if it ever sees the road again with the current owner. by all accounts he hasnt got a clue

yeah thats the one, we offered decent money for that, probably more than we should have once we'd seen the photos, would have been a nice addition to the collection if it was fully rebuilt, although with my three door, snowstorm and my dads rebuilding a '63 triumph tr4 as well, cant have too many projects!!!

ideally the 500 should have been re shelled onto a brand new shell the it would have made a nice easy project. as its been patched up (badly by what i hear) its never gonna be worth much. ive gotta say, snowstorm is one of my all time favorite saffs. its just so wrong that it right. iirc when i went in it, it had a blue dash. love it!!

we thought that but then there is always issues about whether its a gen 500 or a sierra with 500 bits on it etc, yeah blue dash, its originally had white and blue leather seats but they got lent to someone who sold the car with them in, we spent about 2 hours with ellis when we bought it hearing stories of when he had it on the road, and what all the buttons lights and switches on the dash are for!!
