Removing ABS
Been thinking about removing the abs from my 3 door, it never worked properly when it was on the road plus someone has chopped through the sensors at some point for what ever reason , would fitting a non abs master cylinder work on my servo or could I split the brake line with a t peice to feed the front wheels as there's only 2 take offs on the current master and bin the abs or is it just a stupid idea and just replace all the nessesery parts I need for it to work, anyone done it before, it won't be missed if it goes

If you don't want the ABS then you can simply remove it, without touching any of the hardware, there is a diagram on here to do it PROPERLY, i.e. so the warning lights etc don't illuminate.
You can also disconnect one connector, and this too will disable it.

Disconnecting the level sensor from the fluid reservior is sufficient to disable the actual anti-lock system without disabling the power assistance, and seens as some muppet chopped through the wheel sensors, it's no wonder it didn't work
There's only one Sierra vacuum servo that's remotely capable of powering the standard 4-pot calipers, and if I remember right, it's pretty hard to get hold of. Personally, I prefer having 160 bar of hydraulic pressure to power my brakes instead of a girly little servo. My humble opinion is (as ever) to fix it properly - probably only had a wheel sensor fault in the first place, and they're far easier to get hold of than suitably powerful servos.

You can use the stuff from any sierra which has discs all round such as every dohc sierra so they are very very easy to get hold if and plumb in
You'll just need new brake lines from the m/c to the rest of the car
It's going to easier and cheaper and less hassle overall though to fix your system with a new sensor
