Cosworth warning lights
 
Hi guys, my petrol warning and door ajar display only works very occasionally, any ideas as to cause of problem?

Start by checking the earth connections for the module.

Is that the display module or the control module for it?

Mine does the same thing and now not working atall nothing on any although pic of car lights up

old age,mines says drivers door always open.checked all connections and all were ok

Miine reads & driver door is open & front light out been told it's the thingy box next to the ecu or summing like that.

Well if it's just saying that door you most likely have a switch problem rather than a problem with the actual graphic display, so check the switch for the respective door.

The control box is not next to the engine ECU, they are behind the kick trims in each footwell the drivers one is the bulb outage monitor and the actual control unit is in the passenger footwell or vice versa as I am going from memory, this is 2WD but think 4x4 would be much the same. Eliminate all connection issues before buying looking at the actual control units themselves!
