Steering coupling replacement?

My 3dr has destroyed yet another steering coupling.

Does anyone know of an aftermarket replacement product or mod to engineer this week link out?

This time tried to protect the rubber section by covering with heat wrap boot to little success as steering went very loose and can see large play at the joint. Have got a spare coupling but fear this will just reoccur.

Is that just the rubber replacement or the arm attached to it to as i was lead to believe u couldnt get the rubber on its own?

Got a complete replacement coupling, I think the heat from the turbo is creating the problem. Got told not to insulate the turbo as could cause case cracking problems. I think the heat is causing the rubber to harden and become brittle and hence fail.

The £60 or so is for a poly part to replace your rubber part only, they are also available from SUPERFLEX, they are made from poly-urea normally rather than the more common poly urathane.
I did away with mine altogether, buy tig welding a 4wd solid joint in place of it, but these type of solid joints can be got new as group 4 joints from www.carbuildersolutions.co.uk starting from around £15, no need to worry about it after that.
