Default replacing window motor

My drivers electric window motor has packed in. The window is in the up position.

Is it just a case of drilling out the rivets and replacing the motor? Or is it a little more difficult?

Regards

Steve

the rivets hold the mechanism onto the door, the motor is attached by 2 bolts to the mech, so to change the motor, the mech needs to be removed

hope this helps

As said above, it's a easy if fiddly cramped job, use some tape to hold the window up and detach the mech from the rails off the bottom of the window, these just prise off.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like a job for a gynacologist!
