Hi guys. well as usual after fixing something (engine mounts) literally just after something else has gone a miss with the old girl lol.

The left hand bumper bracket looks like it has rotted of from the bumper so for now i have used all sorts, tie wraps gallor and even a door hinge to hold it together on to the car, for now as i need the car to get to work this week.

is there a way of fixing it or should i buy another bumper. been looking at a few on the net at breakers and the bay, and they aint half pricey. but they are straight ones with no sagging. all around the 250 quid mark, is that a good price?

any ideas for fixing or anyone know elsewere for ones for sale.

Is it the plastic mountings on the bumper snapped or the triangle bit on the wing rotted and not holding the mounts on.

Easy to knock up a new metal mount from some sheet steel to attach at the top and bottom of the bumper, £250 is way ott imo, I got a ace one for £65 about 6 months ago, diff colour but hey ho.

the mounting point on the slam panel (front) is ok from what i can see.i think the bit the goes onto it from the bumper has rotted off and pulled of some of the foammy material off that is inside the bumper. the side bits of the bumper that are atached to the wings by bolts are ok and holding the sides of the bumper on fine.
