hi whats the best grade oil to put in the cossie theses days

i use mobil1 0w 40 and have no probs at all and no smoke as it were. the magazines like performance ford say 5w 50 though if im not mistaken.

Usually we recommend 10w-50 synthetic as a good alrounder http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-659-10w-50.aspx

I'd go with a 50 weight but mine is using so much with 180,000+ miles on bottom end it drinks it as quick as petrol nearly!!
