As Tabetha says standard clutch will be fine.
I fitted a 4x4 std in 1998 and its lasted 10 years at 420+Bhp
I do use it but dont abuse it, if you love launching your car all the time , or dip the clutch off roundabouts all the time to get it stepping out or on boost i would say this is abusing it and you may need somthing a bit better.
The only time mine let me down was when we went the National day at donington quite a few years ago and at the hairpin they had a 0-60 time run you paid £10 and you could have as many goes as you wanted, well after about 6 runs it was slipping a bit, but did recover after a steady drive home.
2008 it finaly gave up and swaped it out for a AP Organic, Why not a std then? well i got it at a good price from Ears Motorsport, he did try to convice me to have a paddle, but knowing a standard would be fine didnt want to risk the bad points of a paddle.
Every full plate fibre clutch will have a point where it gets to hot, but they are better for normal driving.
Paddles with there sintered pads dont suffer from heat problems as quickly, but as i hear they are grabby and juddery.
A very tired std plate
by this point it had crushed the cush drive springs, you can see the gaps, when you picked it up and shook it they all rattled
AP Organic
Beefed up on the metal thickness, the springs even the rivets.
Hope this is some help to you.

Sorry, i am talking about clutches as a unit with the appropriate cover std, AP etc..
always replace the cover aswell, the leaf springs will have gone weak and this will be more than half the problem.
the difference between my old one and my new in how much the springs took up when you bolt it to the fly wheel was a lot.
just thought i would clarify that.

Ford dont make good standard clutches no more, they get them from another supplier, and are shite.
Why use standard when there is a part available for the job.
I would buy Ap or Alcon (either of them.) paddle clutch plate.
then buy standard cover and thrust bearing, and also get flywheel skimmed (should cost approx £20)
Then fit and forget.
