hi can anyone tell me if i have the centre box removed on my mongoose exhaust 4 inch tail pipe how would it sound be greatful if anyone knows or has had it done

alot of people remove them, but it will sound very loud.

it will sound awesome, especially on boost, but its wether you can put up with it all the time

Chris, i had mine removed on my old 3dr and the sound was manic especially on boost as Matt says, can wear you down abit on a journey, but they do sound great....

i didnt like it - its ok for short journeys but after a while you get a head ache

also - dont think you will be allowed on many tracks like that

I had to have the centre box cut out of mine due to it splitting it's welds after playing with an Audi S3 and while it wasn't too bad on idle (still proper loud though!), on the motorway and on boost it was way too loud for my liking! The noisy exhaust and the whine of the straight cut gearbox made it horrible on long trips!!

I would keep the centre box if I were you. Personal choice obviously!

cheers people im keeping the 1 with the box in also so ill just swap around when i fancy a change thanks 4 the advice
