Alternator/dash issues?

Alternator/dash issues?
Firstly i've got no rev counter, handbrake light, or oil pressure light. The door display isn't working either. The battery light doesn't come on at first either. After a minute or so this does. But instead of warning that the alternator isn't charging its coming on when it is.
Thats what makes me think it alternator related, it's not charging until the car has been running for a minute or so.
I've taken the plug off the back of the clocks and refitted it but this made no difference. I've checked fuses too and thats all fine.
Anyone got any ideas?
Which pin is the wire from the alternator on the back of the clocks?

If fuse 22 is good then see if you have power to one side of it with ignition on, if not thats your problem the contacts underneath can corrode/get pushed out so not making contact. Battery light will come on when field windings are excited after revving etc so making one side of the bulb live and the otherwise normally live side from ignition is acting as earth so hence bulb lights but it it actually charging.
Alternator wire will be blue.

Cheers Martin i'll try that.
As for the wire. I'm a bit confused really. I know it should be blue, which it is at the alternator. But at the clock end it's not, assuming the wiring diagrams i have are correct that is. But that in itself is another problem, one diagram says it should be pin 7 and one says pin 8. The only blue wires are pin 3 (or 10 if its from the other side).
I'll try the fuse first and see how i get on.
Thanks
