HI,

Yeh its my mates car and just thought some one may know the history,

its built from a motorsport shell i think 4/4, running now as we rechipped it to
3,bar 803's rs 500 intercooler t34 hybrid big brakes etc, he bought it from nottigham way and it could tell a few storys to the clown who built it or
cannibalized it, slowly getting things as they should be, he bought it by himself and got stung, well anyone with info let us know,

HI,

by some hammer do you mean, had a hammering some stick round town,
when he first got the car and phoned me to have a look, and started to look into
it discovered how poor the installation had been i think the engine from the origonal build of the car plus other good bits had been swoped before he bought it as the origonal owner we traced said by photo's etc it was not the same ie wheels etc, yet receipts for the car are for thousands, and engine set up was for 2wd but running L8 4/4 ECU,

Yep was def that car.

Sorry cant remember what magazine it was in as it was quite a few years back.

Was supposed to be running somthing like 400bhp.

Just had a quick look for through some oldmags as its been bugging me and i found one of there old adverts in cosworth 2 magazine from 1997 and they were located at-
unit 6/7 meadwood ind est
bath st
bilston
wolverhampton
ww14 ost

tel-01902 496334

Dont know if there still around or not but may be worth a try.

HI CARL,

You may be right pj motorsport in the past siad to my mate on the phone
they think the car was around wolverhampton area,
the guy on the logbook previous, was JAMIE CARPENTER, who said when he sold
it was running approx, 400bhp, when my mate bought it and i saw it at his house
it was no way running that,, lucky to see 150bhp,as a lot of things had been
swopped, high boost 2,bar with light green injectors 2wd inlet manifold
and throttle switch with a 4/4 L8 ECU, even house cooking electrical cable
to run fans had been used under the bonnet, when its finished it should be
running about 450,bhp all going well,

thanks Dave,
