I was speaking to a ford dealer recently and you cannot buy these plastic header tanks for a 2wd sapphire cosworth. Where can you buy these now and how much is a mint genuine ford one worth?

Can you fit a 4x4 plastic header tank to this model and change some pipes.

What are the advantages and disadvantages between fitting a standard plastic header tank and a stainless steel header tank?

I have a 2wd and have a plastic 4x4 header tank. Certainly still available at Ford and on Ebay. Sometimes a 2wd one turns up on Ebay.
If you want I can take some pics of my water hoses when I get home so you can see how they go?

4x4 ones fit fine with a pipe change. All available from Ford or Fleabay, tank and pipe. Check out the rsowners 2wd registrars concourse car - his has that set up.
