2wd /4x4 antiroll bar
just bought a set of 4x4 rear arms but ill be fitting them to my 3dr. ive been told that the antiroll bar mounts are different if i fit the 4x4 roll bar will the be a straight swop. thanx for the advice i got last time but i cant find the thread.

heres your old link , as tabs said i dont think the old 2wd roll bar fixings will line up with the 4x4 roll bar fixings . Im doing the same to mine when i finish my restoration .

The arb fixing on the 3 door is on the chassis section bit by the wheel itself, the sapph have them either side of the diff, the 3 door roll bar is a LOT longer than the sapph type.

4x4 cosworth to 2wd sapp, anti roll bar rear
Hi guys.. when you saying 16mm / 18mm or the 22mm escort cosworth one.. thats the thick of anti roll bar..? or the Bushes..? I want to make the 22mm escort to my sapp 2wd, i have to change the whole antiroll bar..? thanks for the help...

Yes the 16/18/22 etc is the diameter of the bar itself, which has to be used with the corresponding bushes of the same size.
Pm answered as well.
Swapping to a 22mm rear arb can affect front end grip though, so will drive slightly different at extremes.

Although a 22mm one is nice, it does make the car handle different, it's much better with fully adjustable suspension, as otherwise stiffening the rear can cause understeer on the limit, so just try it out gently till you get used to it, I dropped my rear pressures a bit to lose a little rear grip to keep the car more neutral in the corners.

Anti roll bar , Cosworth
Hmm, Thanks mate... Now im work with my 18mm 4x4 sapp.. but in the laters days, i make the 22mm, i like the road holding, that is must in a 2wd... thanks again , my friend...
