Default Oily plug on cyl #2

Saf cos wouldny start this morning, and when it did, it ran like a bag o nails.

Checked coolant and oil incase it was head gasket, all seemed ok there (no loss or anythin)

I then checked the plugs, and cyl 2 had a drop of oil on the plug........I understand being an old car and I have done a coupla hundred miles since I bought it (nothin major tho) but should the plug get oily unless the pistons/rings r fooked? (205 block RWD saff)

Any suggestions on whats up wi it?

Once I cleaned the plugs it ran ok, im jus wonderin what it would need done to cure the prob.......

Could be valve guides/stem seals or as u said fooked rings mate, also worth checking the oil level just too make sure there isnt too much in it, sounds silly but some of us have made that mistake without realising
