Default Roose motorsport hoses bad fit?

I recentley bought a set of 4x4 ancillary hoses. When i went to fit them i noticed that they are very different to standard ones, especially the bottom header tank hose. Has anyone else had this problem?

Is yours an early or late 4x4?

went to fit my ancilarry hoses and found the bottom header tank hose different to the original.

On the early 4x4 the metal coolant pipe which runs along the bottom of the rad is the same as the 2wd whereas the later pipe has a 90 degree bend in it.

I think this is to do with the different auxiliary belt/pulley set ups fitted to either cars (later has a multi v belt and pas pump mounted under the alternator).

All i did on mine is fit the 2wd water pipe and just route the hose so it didnt rub anywhere.

Hello Mark.
Just noticed this thread and thought i'd put the matter right.
There are 2 Sierra 4WD models. Early type and face lift model type.
2 hoses are different in each kit.
The bottom header tank hose on the early model joins the steel pipe along the bottom of the radiator, on the face lift model it joins the steel pipe half way up the side of the radiator.
The water pump feed hose from the same steel pipe is routed differently on each model.
If you can call me on 01522 787187 i'll exchange them for you.
Regards Paul Roose.
