Default 4x4 cossie osf wheel bearing

Which is the easiest way to remove the hub carrier on a sapp cossie 4x4. I have a ball joint splitter but i dont wanna split the ball joint boot. Also is it easier to drop the anti roll bar down and remove the hub carrier from the shocker. Also is it right the the torque setting for the hub nut is 235Nm.

glenn, undo the hub nut first then remove the track rod end from the hub then undo the strut to hub nut and then get a chiesel into the back of the hub carrier(to spread the carrier and with a scaffy bar lever down on the hub end of the arb, the carrier will come out of the strut, lastly undo the bottom pinch bolt and then the carrier should lift out of the bottom arm.. if the shaft is stuck to the hub remove the caliper and disk then use a puller to push the shaft out.

I did it that way before and thought it was a bit of a chew on but i can use a ramp this time so it will no doubt be easier on a ramp. Has anyone came across the fault where the hub just spins in the bearing instead of been a tight fit.

Yeah when my driveshaft gave up it fucked the hub and bearing, leaving it spinning. I ended up getting another hub.

i put a second hand hub carrier on my car about a year ago and i noticed that only 1 of the bearings was spinning on the hub. Cause my last hub was really noisey cause the bearing had gone and both the bearings were spinning. The reason why i wanna change the wheel bearing is cause ive got a creeking noise coming from the drivers front wheel. There is no play in the bearing. I noticed when i was turning right the noise got worse.
