Default Koni Adjustables Question on 4x4 Cossie

Hi all. Im getting my car today or tomorrow from the garage after having new cv joints and boots at the front as the angle of the driveshaft is too steep for them. My car is lowered on -25mm konis adjustables

My koni adjustables are on the hardest setting. The old owner had this set up that way.
Anyway I was told if I loosen them up it will raise the car slightly, creating less of an angle on the shafts.

Will this work?
And how many turns with the key supplied with the kit do I need to turn it till it is on the loosesed setting, as I was told if I turn it for ages the top bit will fly out.

Many thanks all.

a -25mm drop should be ok mate have you tried to see if your engine mounts are knackered as if so when you accelerate the engine will rock and either pull out the shaft or strain the cv joint at that point

But as said above the koni are not height adjustable in any way the adjuster at the top just stiffens or softens the internal dampers

i had the mounts checked and they were fine. many thanks though. will be softening them up anyway as the ride is too harsh at the front anyway.
