Fuel line removal

How do I remove the fuel line from the fuel rail on a 1990 2wd, the one that has a chrome circular fitting with what looks like a spring on the inside..? Dont want to force it and break it.

sorry mate but the removal of the the fuel line from the rail requires a special tool i had my local tuner do mine

The tool is a air con pipe disconnector of the relevant size, it comes either hinged or in two parts but wraps around the pipe then you push it into the connector and it expands the wire ring inside so you can pull it apart, as I say these are used on air con fittings as well.
ebay might be worth a go.

Thanks for all the replies, I got it done this evening with the jubilee clip trick but ordered a set of air con disconnects for the future:top:
