Default 2wd vs 4wd thermostat housings

Which is better and why? A lot of people say the 4wd is a good upgrade for 2wd cars, but why is this?

dont think 4x4 housings can be fitted to 2wd heads?

ive got a 2wd head on my car and runing a 4x4 thermostat housing etc.

think the late type 2wd heads had 3 bolts, these might work?

yeah mate thats what it is its on a 200 block etc just runing 2wd head whats the main reason for this ? never been too sure

I actually see alot of big power cars using 2wd heads even tho the 4x4 are supposedly better?

I thin kits whatever head is in best condtion at time fitting.
