Try Radtec mate, contact Dan at Rapid Ford, no difference between Radtec and Pro IMHO!

What's up with yours?

dazzle740 29-05-2008 10:59 PM

if yours is repairable and in general good nick i.e. not to rusty you in yellow pages or something like that to see if there is anyone around you that can fix yours if you get it done get it re-cored with a copper core lods more effictive than even the alloy ones.

Radtec from rapid ford m8.

Whilst copper is a better heat dissipater, it is not as good when faced with flying stones etc.

ps I will have a recored one going in about a week, but only cost around £70 for recore, don't generally advertise stuff, I just bin it a sit is easier, can't stand the people who try to give you stupid money for it, get more pleasure out of denying them something stupidly cheap!!

Its Leaking In Both Corners Im Taking It Tomorow To Radtec In Cannock If Its Open To See If They Can Repair It If Not It Time For A New One :(

Alloy v Copper rad core ?

Hi All, I noticed that someone is saying that copper is better at dissipating heat than Alloy. Copper is a better heat Conductor than alloy but when it comes to dissipating heat, Alloy is better because it is lighter than copper so will not store the energy as much as copper.

tabetha 07-06-2008 06:06 AM

True but when you add in air flow it changes, as copper conducts the heat to the air better, yes it is denser and has more mass, but is also MUCH stronger than alloy, a point worth considering when being subjected to debris on the road.
