wondering if anyone can give me some advice got a 3dr cossie which ive just put back on road, fitted new standard clutch kit while engine out (genuine ford) and a new ford clutch cable 2wd and had a problem with the biting point to low and couldnt get gears. so fitted new clutch quadrant kit and still the same, if i manually adjust it then its ok untill i knock the pedal and then its gone shitty again any ideas????

think the cosworth have a different clutch cable or u 100% sure this is the correct cable?as i think if it not this causings this problem!although i could be talking complete bollocks lol!

100% guarentee your pedal box will be cracked slightly or all the bushes in it will be tossed.

I put new bushes in mine and also squeezed an extra washer on the bar to help tighten things up.

Mine was like this to start with, but 500 miles later was normal.
Did you fit the gearbox end first, have you tried to reset the auto adjuster, by lifting pedal and pushing the quadrant away, then releasing pedal ?
