none starter...help
i baught a 350bhp saph yesterday & came off a roundabout sideways & mounted the curb, it minced the egsaust & broke a mount by puching the engine up about 4 inches i started it strait after to reverse it off of the curb & it cut out after 10 seconds then i towed it away & left it over night in a garage, so today i changed the mount & egsaust no problem, pushed the white safety switch in in the boot & went to start it but no fuel pump & no spark so i checked to see if there was power going to the pump & there was none but the pump works fine after a wee test but still no startin it turns over fine aswell.........any ideas folks.....please

phase sensor lives in the distributor housing mate, there will be a little black plug sticking out of it, that would stop spark if its not plugged in or its internally fooked. But not stop fuelling.

Crank Position Sensor(CPS), will stop both fuelling AND spark.
When left overnight, and ignition is first turned on to position 2, do you hear a few seconds of pump prime ?, if not CPS needs looking at first as it should.

ps mind the kerbs next time!!

after checking the crank sensor its still not sparking or fuelling, ive wend over all the wires in the engine bay about 4 times, checked all the fuses & the relays under the bonnet & checked the ecu & still nothing, ive rounded it off to the imobiliser so it'll be going back to where it was fitted a few years back (about 3 miles down the road)
unless anybody has any other ideas??
