I have no piccies but have noticed in the past, that cossie kits seem to have just the short braided front one that directly replaces the rubber one, but other kits I have used on non cossie sierra's had a long braided that went straight from the inner mount wing area to the caliper body itself.

See this is the problem, i have bought a kit from GGR and replaced both the rubber flexi and steel pipe with the braided one but it does look quite right. It obviously wont follow the same route as it is not long enough but it is quite a bit longer that just the rubber flexi

have you screwed them in correctly?
you need to screw it into the caliper first, then the body
you can adjust the body fitting by rotating it through the angles but not at the caliper end

is this what you mean?

The 2wd cars had a rubber flexi and a hard copper pipe, the 4wd cars only had the flexi..... you can use the 4wd kit on the 2wd a do away with the copper pipe.
