Default Starter motor and solenoid

Just a quick one, am I right in believing that you can not just change the sloenoid on a 2wd cossie, as it is part of the starter motor?

Thanks

I doubt you can buy just the solenoid by itself, but you certainly can take them off the starter and change them.

You can buy just the solenoid, and as above says, it is held on with two through screws with philips/pozi drive heads.
The unfortunate bit is they are BOSCH solenoids so stick anyway, although LUK(lucas, etc) copy most BOSCH stuff.
