hi all , my mate has the same car as me ,exactly the same to be honest , and he gets to about 140 ish and the car starts to stutter like its not getting any fuel , does he need a special fuel pump ? its running a stage 1 norris gunship tune if this helps ,, thanks in advance for any help given ,

Start with the basics.....when was the fuel filter last changed and have you checked fuel pump voltage under load ie long wires from multi metre to pump then road test it?

How long ago was it set up as this would have shown on the rollers if above problem.
VERY good idea to relay pump anyway, as well as doing the wires at same time even on std ones.

had the relay fitted to just inside the boot just b4 i got it , as for the fuel filter and pump i am not sure coz i cannot get underneath it tonight to look ( i dont wanna get wet ). i may take it to torque of the devil for a set up b4 central day at santa pod , would this highlight the problem and do anyone no if i take the parts if they will fit them there and then ?

TOTD are very helpful, sure if you had the bits they would fit them if that was the problem, though I wopuld at least get the filter changed anyway.
The rollers will highlight the problem if it occurs on them.

i thought that you had to have a fuel pump upgrade when you got the norris chip as it runs so much more fuel then normal hence the reason why the power is unbelieveab;e for stage 1.
