cosorth wont start

Default cosorth wont start

i was driving my car today when it started to play up as if it was running out of fuel but as i accelerated it seemed fine but as soon as you lifted off the gas it started playing up again.i drove it about a mile with the excelerator pressed down and fine untill lifted off .i then stoped the car and it stalled and i couldnt restart it.called aa they checked fuelpump, spark, fuel up to the rail, injectors was ok but took spark plugs out and they was dry but the car stinks off fuel and still wont start.so they took me home and still wont start any ideas wood be very much apreciated cheers also forgot to say plenty of fuel as it was recently filled up and also there is no leeks thanks

Check the common things like the phase sensor wires in the dizzy cap. Also check or replace water temp sensor.
