I have the motor and housing from a Granada and its the correct spline type for the sunroof thats in my saff. But what do i do for a cover?

Cover off a sierra that had lecky roof to start with.

have you got the mounting bracket as well?
you can power it by running a new lead up the a pillar but you will need to find a sierra cover as the granada one won't fit

Here is an option that is probably not for you but I thought it might be of interest
I found a guy that installs new sunroofs
He was very reasonable at around 600GBP (1500AUD as Im in australia)
The sunroofs for Ford and GM are not fitted on the assembly line quite often, it takes too much time so guys like this fellow are contracted to do it offline or after sale...
Thus this sunroof is the exact ford item and current technology. thinks like auto shutting 15 sec after key off... and he replaces your roof liner and inserts all new rails and cuts hole if you didnt have one...

And best of all its guaranteed to be as new and not leak
