Default Sapphire rear speakers - 5" or 5 1/4" ??

I'm going to replace the speakers in the parcel shelf, utilising the existing units (ie grille and surround), just replacing the speaker itself and possibly the tweeter too, depending of which speaker I choose.

So, are these 5 or 5 1/4?? If I measure the speaker, it's exactly 5 1/4 from extremity to extremity of the metal casing - so does this mean it's 5 1/4 speakers??

I put MB QUART Q130KNS speakers in mine as there were none when I bought the car and they went straight in, 13cm size.

Wow yes I found that out today, lots of plastic "sawdust" later, and a few new holes drilled, I got a set of Infinity Perfect 5 1/4 to fit nicely, with tweeters, and even managed to attach the standard tensile metal bracket to the rear of the Perfects, by using a type of large plastic rawlplug and a different size bolt, so they'll fit exactly as the OE kit!

Yep I put 5 1/4 Infinity Reference in the front of mine, needed to drill new holes but these are hidden by the speaker grille's, and within the outline of the original speaker grilles, so no ugliness if you put the standard kit back in.

But, the depth is limited at front, even the relatively slim speakers I used mean the door card doesn't quite fit back on 100% at the bottom. Wouldn't be able to use deep speakers like the Perfects up front.
