Tuning companies.
Hi,
First of all sorry if this question is a bit stupid but there seems to be a lot of different companies for Cosworth tuning but which are the most prominant in the YB world or is that like asking how long is a piece of string? I can think of Grove Garage, ABC and Norris Motorsport so far. Thanks in advance for any comments :top: |
There are a few companies out there that know the stuff when it comes to cossies, like all businesses they have good and bad feedback but all have good knowledge and experience of the vehicles in question,
Two companies who I have met, use regularly and have a good relationship with are SCC Performance in St Albans and MA Developments in Berkshire :top: :top: Luciano |
Motorsport Developments or any of the above m8.

Tuning Companys
i have had two cosworth engines rebuilt so far and as they was local to me i thought i would give Torque Developments a go for my most recent. Although they are more into the jap scene I have found them to be excellent (although Very expensive) at rebuilding my engine and as my dad had his rally car regulary rebuilt by them some 20 odd years ago i thought i would give them a go. Seriosly impressive setup in there and great premises. But i suppose thats what the users are paying for in the £80 +vat an hour charge.
Just thought i would add my two pennies. Oh and grove garage are excellent did prefer it when younger mark was there though... |
What is the general opinion on PJ motorsport?

Grove Garage have been great. Honest, enthusiastic, realistic, considerate and very very knowledgable about Cosworths. I have been really impressed and couldn't recommend the place enough. One of the key things for me is being able to deal with someone who doesn't look down on the customer for not having specialist knowledge. Mark has been really patient explaining the sort of things that most people who have been around Cossies should know (and I don't!).
They have live mapped my car, done some important work on the electrics and suspension and removed, reconditioned and replaced the steering rack. My car is going really well and I have a lot of confidence in the work that was done. Charlie |
i only ever used one and that was reyland i can't reccommend hhim enought very help full and took time to explain things to me i won't use any one else from know on
