hi,

can a sierra xr4x4 abs servo unit be use on the sapph cossie? bought a used one and notice the piping looks different from the original unit which lead me to think it maybe from a xr4x4.. also one of the connector is different... anyone?

Cossies don't use servos, they use a pump instead.
I am not sure what the xr4x4 uses, is it just a normal servo then ?

sorry not sure what you really call it. ya its the whole abs brake pump..doe anyone have the part number on the casing? perhaps with that i can trace and get a replacement.

Right hand drive 2wd and 4x4 abs servo units are different.

The ABS bottle and pipes are on the turbo side of the unit on the 2wd version but are on the drivers wing side on the 4x4 ones

Pretty sure the xr4x4 and cosworth 4x4 ones are the same though

YES! the 2 wd pipe is indeed on the turbo side.. the one i bought is on the other side. and connector also different.
