Default No pressure out of turbo into wastegate actuator?

Just been monkeying around with my 2wd and connected a boost gauge in the line from the turbo into the three way solenoid valve thingy. I'm not seeing any pressure? Anyone have any idea why?

I'm a bit worried because doesn't this essentially regulate the turbo pressure?

You dont fit a boost gauge there any way, fit it with a t piece from the pipe that goes to top of fuel pressure regulator somewhere near the inlet manifold
