Default 4x4 Values

First post on this forum, so go easy on me!

Ive been to look at an immaculate 1990 4x4 Sapphire cosworth. Totally standard apart from 17" RS 7 spokes. Fully leather interior and only 34,600 miles on the clock.

Any ideas what this car would be worth realistically ? Also, how would it fair as a daily driver ?

Cheers

I would have thought 7-8 k roughly depends on colour and history .they are a good everday drive as long as you keep on top of them good luck!

Its going for 10K, its flint grey, had all old MOT's to verfy mileage and all old tax discs.

Only two previous owners, ast owner for 14 years, however he has lost the handbook.

Will be serivced as part of the sale.

I like the car but dont want to pay over the odds.

Yeah I know its strong money, but i'd rather have a mint sapphire than a ropey Escort.

£8k maximum IMO.

For £10k you could get a nice 3 door for £8k and still have £2k to buy a daily driver with!!

Just my opinion of course

As per my comment above about a nice 3 door for £8k, here's an example

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/295043.htm

Then use the £2k to buy a nice Escort TD or something

At the end of the day it is only worth what someone will pay for it. Low mileage does not necessarily make it a good buy, the service history will tell you the real story. Make sure that you check the usual spots for rust and if unhappy walk away, there will always be another as it is buyers market at the moment.
