what part does this relay control?

can someone tell me what part this is:

all numbers on part are -

top right corner - 77180

83BG13A025CA

V23134-E8-X39

12V

40/35A

these are all the numbers on the relay (i don't know which one is the correct one!)

this part comes from the relay box in 1987 sierra cosworth 3 door under the steering column.

please tell me what it controls.

thanks for all your help.

Post up the TERMINAL NUMBERS nad I will look it up for you, a lot easier!!
The terminals will have numbers/letters on them on the base.

as said, it's a generic relay that could control a whole host of things

the pin numbers will corespond to certain bits on the loom and it's a much eaier method of finding out what it's for :)
