Right 4 some reason my drivers side window has started playin up, its decided 2 go down n not go back up, my original thought was that it could b the motor but after tryin another 1 i still have the same problem, any1 got any ideas what it could b?

Faulty switch or dodgy wiring in the corner of the door.

It is not the wiring as it uses the same two wires for up as it does for down, just reverses the current.
It is a dirt/dodgy contact in the switch, just take apart and clean contact "spots".

Deffo the switch. I had exactly the same problem. After probing the switch with a multimeter I thought it might be the motor. Changed motor, nada. Changed switch, solved
