What hardware am I missing (3 Dr transmission) ...

Was under my car and found that a bolt was missing from the front of the transmission bellhousing (RH side, opposite to where the starter bolts on) ...

I went and grabbed a spare bolt and nylok nut then I relised the hole is tapered (or threaded ... hard to see) so I couldn't clamp it together :wall:

Has anyone got a photo or specification of the bolt ? :? (FINIS would be even better ;) )

from memory, thats just an M6 hole (takes a bolt with 10mm across the flats) to hold the sandwich plate in place that you can see in the picture that stops shit going in to the bellhousing/clutch

It is threaded, my car had the small bolt head sheared off, so had to drill and retap for a new larger bolt.

All its doing is holding the corner of the cover plate so us a thinner bolt and nut.

Yup - as said - it also helps to line it all up of course ;-)
