Hi, could anyone tell me what size diff is in a 2wd saph cossie, and where do you mearure it from? thanks

2wd 7 1/2". 4x4 7".

Took my diff out tonight, and measured as sujested and it measures 7inches across. Does this mean I have a 4wd diff and rear crossmember, is this unheard of or perhaps someone has changed it all over for some reason? Also is the 7inch diff much weaker than the 7.5inch

7 1/2" diff also has larger drive flanges than the 7".
Do you have solid or vented rear discs ?
