As far i know, they are the same.

Mine is a 93 and it has no different seats with my other cossies i have had.

Only the rouse sport seats were different as these had wings on the upper sides of them, like the xr2i,xr3i zetec winged seats.

Don't know about the heated seats though!

Do you mean the difference between the earlier 4x4 models and the later facelifted ones? The last cars had different alloys facelifted interior (different dashboard etc) and the seats were a darker grey (called 'space') with little red and blue dots. The only options on the last cars were air conditioning or a 2008 CD player, never seen heated seats as an option tho I think they were in some colder countries!

looking at the brochure for 91/92 and 92 /93 the appears to be no difference between the two except for the option of paint colour which included a radiant red and smokestone
the optional extras were only aircon and 2008 rds radio and cd player 2028
the heated seats were only an optional extra on the 92/93 escort cosworth
although my 92 saph has provision for the 2 switches on either side of the handbrake. i.m sure you could have had ford fit them on buying the car or even fit them your self as there only a heater blanket stuffed into a cavity in the seat
i think the owners manual give a small discription and opperation of them,

Hi Phil !

My first post so here it goes ....

I've seen '92 Sierra Cos' here in Norway with heated leather recaros, but I can't say for sure if that's added later on. My car (w/leather) has not heated seats but the car was sold in Italy back in 1992 and it's warmer in Italy than in Norway

I think that you could by the cosw. with a sort of "winter-option" in some countries (Germany, Switzerland etc ). Very few sold new in Norway (prices !!)but I would guess that heated was std. (cold here !!!)

don't know of any differences betw. 1992 and 1993 except from a bad looking steering wheel on the 1993. Haven't seen it "live" though so if anyone w/1993 can confirm the steering wheel please do

regards,
Baard
