what is this for?
 
its a 2wd cossie. supposed to be standard but havent got a clue what the plug in does. it connects to the front of the ecu. car had a engine rebuild 3 years ago could they have put it on then and why?

Hi,

It's plug what give less spark advance to ECU :
you can obtain - 2° -4° -6° as you like, if you use bad quality benzine.
(92 RON or less.)

cheers for your help. got the same answer on another site that it was used for cheap fuel.
