2wd Saff rubbing on standard alloys
As title. The car is supposed to be on standard suspension but it looks a little too low for that. Even if it was lowered, should it be rubbing over bumps?
From the sound I think its rubbing archliner more than the arch itself? Would a brand new standard setup be the best cure or something a little stiffer :top: |
If it was standard height it'd look like a tractor :content:
But where is it rubbing? As in front/back, when turning or going straight? |
Unless you have acar full and a caravan on the back it should not rub on standard ride height at all, as said.
I have coilovers set at std height - 1" as lot of sleeping policemen around here, but you do not need to go to these lengths, just get a new set of springs ie STANDARD RIDE HEIGHT chassis dynamics springs, 30% uprated, have used them myself very very good and comfy. tabetha |
It's the fronts that rub going over bumps at speed. I'll get the wheels off and hopefully see what type of shocks and springs are in it. I know the back ones are black shocks with a red and white striped sticker on them. Further investigation needed :top:
