Agreed.

But the MSD coil is better then the group A one.
As said, i did have tried them all, and the car does run smoother and never missed a beat with the MSD one.
There is many types of MSD coils.. what kind is the best for the cosworth?

The MSD blaster coil 2 is a very good coil....And it's plug and play for the Cosworth leads.

the group A coil that everyone seems to be selling is actually available off the shelf from VAUXHALL dealers. sorry for swearing

the part number for coil is exactly the same as a vauxhall nova sport and is priced at £12+vat

dont be fooled by all these companies selling them for £30-£40

get yourself down to a vauxhall dealer if you can bring yourself to open the door, buy the part and have a vauxhall supplied part fitted to your pride n joy

Default grp a coil

the grp a coil is one of the best mods to compliment a power upgrade, instead of wiring it in to the original loom(11.5v),direct it straight from the battery 13.5v!!!! make sure to put a relay on it and feel the difference!

Will you see that much of a difference? Just use the original feed to switch the relay?

It may well LOOK the same but resistances are all different as is coil windings, therefore voltage, primarily because it was on a N/A vaux never intended for forced induction which needs a MUCH higher spec to spark under boost.
I have found 7 that LOOK the same and will fit etc, but they are not right.
