suspension.... is choice mate simple as really........ it's ok asking people what suspension they use.... but what would you prefer road supension or race suspension what do you want to do with the car ??
road supesion is ok for the road... but not that good on track
i have 500/200 on the front (tarmac) 350/130 on the rear (gravel) this is only the damping of the struts
and this would be ideal for track use
but thats me

The only reinforcement needed if you really feel you need to is simply weld 2 1/8th" penny washer approx 11/2" round on the rear strut holes, 1 either side, this with just prevent the hole from spreading or elongaging. would definately advise the use of a rear strut brace with coil overs, this way you will actually notice the differents in spring rates when changed.

Just for you Immie i'll tell ya something ..it's doesn't matter as long as the rear suspension has rose joints on the top of the sturt where it fit in the turet ... i had to re-dill it bigger fit the coilovers..because of the rose joint and there is no movement what so ever
