Default Sapphire Cosworth Door Mouldings

Hi,

Can anyone tell me the Ford part numbers for the left hand and right hand rear door mouldings (rubbing strips) on my 1989 Saff Cos?

Cheers,

Nick

Ive only brought a pair of rear door mouldings, with my Ford discount they are Ł30 each. They come with an adhesive tape already on them.

To put them on properly you have to use some kind of chemical the activates the adhesive tape and I believe they are then heated either after they are fitted or during fitting.

This is what I've been told by a mate who works as a paint sprayer in a body shop.

Cheers

Steve

When you call for a price make sure you're sitting on a nice comfortable chair.

I didn't think they were still available from ford?

Does anyone have any pics of the mouldings that Curvature make? I'm about to order but they didn't have any pics of them.

no pics but have seen a few and they are identical to OEM but without the metal strip backing so its easier to apply and wont crease

Sounds great. I will most likely order a set in January. I don’t care that they aren’t genuine Ford ones as long as they look identical and are straight. I was able to source two new genuine Ford mouldings a couple a month ago but even they weren’t straight.
