Mk4 Escort Trackday project??
Having sold much of my monster RS Turbo, I am left to consider what to do with the shell. I had an idea!!
60,000 mile 1989 RS Turbo - Diamond White (4 owners on the logbook)
It's in good overall condition, one of the more solid shells from a structural point-of-view. So needs to go to good use in my opinion. It is partly seam-welded (rear tubs/turrets and all round the front turrets), braced front and rear and has a practically brand new Safety Devices rollcage fitted (removable diagonal and brand new unfitted door bars). It's been fitted properly, with the footplate reinforcements welded in as they should be (most people just bolt these). The sunroof has been removed fully and plated over. Alot of the unnecessary wiring has been removed (Stereo & Accessory wiring etc)
There are two options.
1. Take it away as a bare shell (not rolling, no interior trim etc), but with all the above parts included for £1500.
or....
2. I will fit brand new Koni adjustable suspension and some lowered springs and make it a rolling shell for £2200. It will also include things like adjustable rear lateral arms, camber bolts, front adjustable TCA's, rear drum brakes etc.
I reckon its gagging for a Zetec engine dropped in the hole and a good little trackday toy. If anyone is seriously interested PM me and I will go through exactly whats included/not included.
