What would this have needed to be put back on the road?? bumper, bonnet, light, at a push a front panel?? could have picked up this lot for a couple hundred and kept a mint RS on the road.

Its a shame that in a few years what with the stupid scrapage scheme and people stacking them into ditches, there are not gonna be many nice ones left that dont need major work

I'm not worried I was mearly making an observation that it's a shame, and how its unfortunate that they are worth more in bits than whole, hence always being broken up.

never mind life goes on!

simple fact is mate there worth more in bits as poeple wont pay what there worth as whole car not my fault mate its yours and people like you.
you have to look at it this way, there is 1 person who may buy an whole car at what ever spec,BUT there is 30 people wanting different bits of its
what would YOU do ????
anyway as its been said no breakers no RS cars

I can see your point that it may keep 30 other cars on the road. its just a shame that this car with its resto and spec was being broke (that was my point), true someone will buy the shell to reshell their rotten one so it will probably end up back on the road.

Maybe the owner should have been more carefull?

I built this car & after insurance paid me out I brought it back for peanuts with the intention of re-shelling it as I didn't want to repair it & end up with a Cat D.

After searching for nigh-on a year & not finding a mint shell, came to the tough decision to sell it on as is

Couldn' be arsed to break it myself so jogged it on ....

Breaks my heart to see her broken up after the 2yrs I spent building it from a bare shell, sourcing parts, gaining knowledge as I went, meeting lots of fellow RS nuts and striving to make it the best it could be

Anyone interested in any parts can be sure they'll be spot on

R.I.P Baby........................
