Breaking 500BHP MK1 Fiesta RWD Cosworth VIPEC EFR7670 ETC
Ok due to the car not getting enough use and a house extension needed I’ve decided to break the car. For those of you that don’t know the car it’s a 1982 Mk1 Fiesta L with 4 Owners and was around 30,000 miles when I got it. It has the been converted to RWD to a high standard. It uses MK1/2 Escort front suspension, and a Capri Atlas Rear axle. The engine in the car is a 200 Block YB Cosworth engine and with the guidance and mapping from Mark at MA Developments it made 521BHP and 518lbft torque. The car has had no expense spared and owes me in excess of £30k most parts on the car were bought new.
I’ll list what is for sale and what certain things include below. This is advertised on other forums so please if you want any parts please post a reply on the thread stating the parts of interest as well as any PM’s as this will be first come first serve according to the thread so people can see. Just bear in mind it is on other forums!
In an ideal world I could do with selling the shell first before I take it apart so I’ve got room in the garage for all the parts that I take off, so there may be a short wait on the parts people want.
Payment can be pay pal but as a GIFT only, if not your parts will not get sent until full payment is received. Cash on collection or bank transfer is also fine.
Ok firstly a bit about the Shell;
The shell as said is converted to rear wheel drive, using Capri/Escort running gear. Tunnel is big enough for a T5 Gear box. Rear axle is mounted via a 4 link kit and Watts linkage. Engine is sat nice and far back mounted on a WCXM. Front end uses compression struts. The rear is Tubbed allowing wide wheels (currently running 9J on the rear. Full weld in roll cage with door bars and seat belt bars. The car is fitted with Berg Cup Arches and front Splitter. The shell is painted inside and out and stone chipped, painted and lacquered underneath too.
Included in the sale of the shell is as follows;
Headlights, Indicators, De-Badged Grill, Fibreglass Bonnet/Boot, Doors, Windscreen, Perspex Windows, Carbon Door Cards, Mirrors, Wiper motor, Handles inside and out, Power steering column and adjuster, Steering wheel, Dash (not inc Dash 2 and gauges) Centre Console, Pedal box, Master cylinders, Braided brake lines, Hydraulic Hand brake, Passenger Foot Rest, Gear lever Surround, Carbon Roof Scoop, Rear Lights, Tow Eyes, Fuel Tank, Fuel Filler/Cap, Teflon fuel lines and fittings, Battery and Tray, Complete 3” Stainless Exhaust System, Plumbed in Fire extinguisher and nozzles, Oil cooler, Washer Bottle, Long Acre interior mirror, steering wheel hook, Concentric top Mounts with billet spacers. Steering Rack and WCXM.
90% of the above which is included on the shell was Brand new and cost over £5000.
Price for shell: £5000 Your more than welcome to come and view it, but please only serious viewers I don’t get enough time at home with the family as it is so please don’t just come round for a nose! (I don’t mean to sound rude but I’m sure the genuine people understand where I’m coming from)
Pictures of at various stages of it being built are below, but just to reiterate it only comes with what’s listed above, if you’re not sure on anything please just ask.
Fuel swirl pot £50
AEM Gauges; Boost and EGT (sensors included but egt sensor broken)
Boost - £65
EGT - £50
Airtec intercooler (has had both pipes modded so will put hoses in a different place to standard) £120
Airtec 2wd Radiator £100
4 Port Breather with AN fittings, Catch tank and Hoses £250
Wheels/Tyres; Compomotive ML, Rears are 9x15 and fronts 8x15. 225/45/15 Rear tyres and 205/50/15 front tyres. Toyo R1R’s £500
There may be stuff I’ve forgotten, so if there is something you want its worth an ask.
All prices are + any postage costs.

No Probs mate, turbo dynamics sell them for £1221.03 + VAT then you need to add £100 for the High boost actuator and its a small increase again I think for the T4 Flange.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Hi, mental car that, shame youve come to break it! I was wondering if you have any dyno papers of that engine setup? How did the EFR7670 work for you, and what was the reason for not using 7064?
Good luck with the sale! Some very nice parts there.
